Now, you need to choose the most suitable method to import Amazon products to BigCommerce:

  • Create Amazon items in BigCommerce one at a time or in bulk directly in the app
  • Import a CSV file with Amazon listings into your BigCommerce store

Method 1. Create Amazon items in BigCommerce.

M2E Multichannel Connect allows you to create products in your BigCommerce store based on your existing Amazon listings. This is a perfect option in case you do not want to deal with CSV files and instead opt for manual product creation. If you prefer to import products from Amazon to BigCommerce using a CSV file, proceed to method 2.

Navigate to the Listings tab and select your linked Amazon account from the drop-down menu. Use the Quick Search field and filters to find your Amazon items by title, ASIN, or other criteria. To create one item at a time, click on the arrow next to the Link button and select the “Create product in BigCommerce and link” option.

Create new BigCommerce product based on Amazon listing

If you need to create multiple products, select the desired items by checking the boxes on the left side of the grid. A top menu will appear – click the three dots and then select the “Create in BigCommerce” option.

The selected Amazon products will be created in your BigCommerce store shortly.

Method 2. Export your Amazon items via a CSV file.

Access the Listings tab and select your linked Amazon account from the drop-down menu. Take advantage of the Quick Search field to locate your Amazon items by title, ASIN, or other criteria. You can also use the Groups option on the right side of the screen to organize and export listings from a specific Amazon marketplace and Product Type.

The export process may take some time. You will receive a notification with the export results in your inbox.

Once you have your CSV file in place, navigate to Products > Import in your BigCommerce admin. Check the import options and upload the exported CSV file.

Import Amazon products via CSV file to BigCommerce

Verify that the settings for your product data align properly in the Link Import Fields section. After the import is finished, you’ll get a summary of the number of products successfully imported.

Next, you need to link your inventories on both platforms. Linking helps prepare your products for synchronization and ensure that products ordered on Amazon are always linked to the correct items in your BigCommerce store.

M2E Multichannel Connect will auto-link your products if they share the same SKUs or barcodes on Amazon and BigCommerce. If you’ve previously opted to create Amazon items in BigCommerce instead of a CSV file import, your products will be linked automatically, even if the identifier data doesn’t match. You can skip this step and proceed to the next one.

However, if you have changed the identifiers on either platform since the import, manual linking is necessary. For a larger inventory, bulk linking would be more efficient. Go to the Listings tab and select your Amazon profile. Use the filters next to the Quick Search field to find products that are not linked.

Use filters to find not linked Amazon products

Click on More actions and choose Export in the top right corner.
