We’re excited to announce new features released in August 2024 that will simplify managing your listings and inventory. Here’s a summary of the latest updates in M2E Multichannel Connect.
Linking a Variational Channel Product to Multiple Parent Products in Your Store
Sellers often face challenges linking Variational products between their store and Channels. For instance, a T-shirt with 10 variations (a white one in 5 sizes and a black one in 5 sizes) might appear as one item on the Channel but two separate products in the store. Previously, such products could only be linked via export/import. Now, we’ve added the option to relink them directly in the Listings tab.
Link your first Parent product with all necessary variations. Then, use the Relink option to link the second Parent product and its variations. Repeat this process until you’ve linked everything correctly, and finally, relink the product that will serve as the main Parent one.
Improved Image Handling for Variational Products on TikTok Shop
When listing variational products on TikTok Shop, the app will now send an image for each variation. If a specific variation doesn’t have its own image, the Parent product’s image will be used automatically. This way, all product variations will be represented visually, providing a better shopping experience for your customers.
Flexible Barcode Entry on Amazon and Walmart
As you may know, valid barcodes are required to list products on Amazon and Walmart. Previously, the app only pulled barcode information from your store’s product data. Now, you can manually enter the barcode or use a dedicated store attribute in the Barcode Source section during the first step of listing creation.
Providing VAT for eBay Listings
When listing products on eBay, you can now specify VAT and indicate the percentage of tax included in the product price. This new option is available in Selling Policy and applies to listings on eBay.co.uk and other European eBay sites. eBay will automatically calculate the net price and the correct amount of VAT to collect from buyers.

Quantity Reservation for Pending Orders
To help you manage your inventory more efficiently and avoid stockouts, we’re introducing a new Quantity Reservation feature for Channel orders marked as Pending. This will reserve the specified quantity of products, ensuring that popular items aren’t oversold.
If you want early access to this feature, contact our support team to get it enabled. Once activated, the app will automatically reserve stock for orders in Pending status.
Walmart Product Types
The Category and Product Type structure will change with Walmart’s shift to Item Spec 5.0. You may notice that your selected category has disappeared from your existing listings. But don’t worry – your products will move automatically to the correct Product Type on Walmart. You will have the option to manually reassign the Product Type in the app using the Change Product Type bulk action.
