Dermofarma is a European healthcare and beauty retailer focused on dermatological skincare. The company carries well-known brands like Sesderma, Segle Clinical, Atache, and La Roche-Posay, offering a carefully selected range of high-quality, clinically proven products.

Since 2015, they have been using M2E Pro to run their Amazon sales from Magento. During this time, Dermofarma built solid expertise in catalog management, pricing, fulfillment, and cross-border compliance.

Their next move was to launch on TikTok Shop across five European markets through the “Sell across EU” program.

Challenge: Five Markets, One Launch

Entering a new sales channel is never simple. Dermofarma was doing it in five countries at once, with no existing TikTok Shop presence and a live business to maintain.

Several things made this harder than a typical marketplace launch:

1) Catalog scale and category accuracy. Beauty and cosmetics is a category-sensitive space. Products had to land in the right TikTok Shop categories for each country. Doing that for 35,000+ SKUs and five markets needs precision, not just automation.

2) Pricing consistency. Dermofarma uses special pricing rules in their e-commerce platform. Those prices had to appear correctly on TikTok Shop, with no mismatches between channels.

3) Long-term infrastructure. Listing products was the starting point. Dermofarma also needed a setup between their system and TikTok Shop that could support order management, cut down on manual tasks, and grow with them as they expanded further in Europe.

Still, Dermofarma’s Amazon background gave them a head start. They already knew how marketplace data needs to be structured, why pricing discipline matters, and what it takes to handle order volume from external platforms. They weren’t learning the basics – just applying what they knew to a new channel.

Solution: Integration with M2E for a Multi-Market Launch

Dermofarma didn’t need to look far for an integration partner. After 10 years of using M2E Pro for Amazon, they stayed within the same ecosystem and chose M2E Multichannel Connect to link their Magento backend with TikTok Shop.

  • Category mapping. Accurate category choice affects whether listings get approved. M2E ensured that products from Dermofarma’s catalog were carefully matched to TikTok Shop’s category structure on all five markets.
  • Pricing alignment. Special pricing from Dermofarma’s catalog was mapped into TikTok Shop listings. This way, customers could see consistent prices no matter where they found the product.
  • Order flow integration. M2E imports orders from TikTok Shop, so they appear alongside Amazon and direct sales orders. The Dermofarma team can process them through the same familiar system.

Integration Results

Dermofarma is now selling on TikTok Shop in Italy, Spain, Ireland, Germany, and France. Over 1,000 products are published, with more on the way. Orders and inventory are automatically synced between TikTok Shop and Magento, which means less manual day-to-day work for the team.

And because the M2E integration is built to scale, expanding to additional marketplaces like Temu, Kaufland, OTTO, or Mirakl won’t require starting from scratch.
